I had same problem are you running exfat or fat32 on your switch??? talk to tomswitch. he knows more about the cheat system.

The master code is a special code that gets ran first. It's kinda like (m) for those who understand GameShark and codebreaker.

i reinstalled it more than 5 times also installed the older version one but it said i have to update the game T_T so i have to install only 2.7.2.... but i saw last update to 2.7.3.... but i don't see any code come out yet so i will wait for it
