Should I Include An Option To Download Other Projects On First Project Release?

update to make all the launchers use the codepage for english (should fix issues with people with for example spanish systems)

also updated the highest number for authy version searching
 
updated the project to use openjdk instead of java paf from portableapps to remove the last dependency on portableapps (affects kps launcher and minecraft legacy project)

this also gets rid of any need for dialogues from the .paf.exe files

its like portableapps except everything is a script and is done live and likely to break at some point and is basically a project i made 4-5ish years ago when i didnt have my own pc to use stuff id use the libraries pc. nowadays i mostly just maintain it / see if i can learn something new sometimes about how program installers are packed or work

fixed an issue that caused lessmsi to fail to download
i also dont know why people use this much nowadays but yea its doing the thing again
 
also turns out changes to github broke ALOT of things

i may choose to rewrite the download portion with something else and see if github likes it

Hi. I want to really thank you for all your work. I would like to ask you, I have used portable steam launcher and now it is requested me to install SteamService when I am trying to start game, do you know if it is a way to install it as well with steam? And also is there are a way to have Origin to be installed with this software same as Steam? Thank you!)

just started a bit towards a revival of the project

fixed ones people specifically requested (game maker studio and krita (for both it was generally that the urls changed for them)) and then made a list of everything that needs fixing

next time im sitting bored (which is alot lately) i am going to fix those up

4 years i left this stuff in drought tho tbh im suprised just how much still works without changes

you can use the download dll options which should make you be able to say no usually steam service install just is like visual c redists or direct x which the download dll options will do something about

i found a workaround to fixing the github issues when i setup to download for another project (lessmsi) so its no longer needed + nobody ever responded about it

at some point i will look into origin
 
epic games launcher is now 64bit only, it also no longer gets LauncherPrereqSetup_x<arch>.msi, this may not be necessary anymore, sadly initial setup still requires admin also the wix repo is now archived (which may be why eg dropped launcherprereqsetup cause it used wix) so i updated the helper launcher to a static link, tho, nothing uses it anymore now but it is updated at least

anyways it should work fine now, tho because of how the launcher works in general [this is how its always been btw] just about every action you take asks you for admin privileges including updating the launcher itself, its very annoying and not as portable as i would desire but its something i guess so its more to show that it can be not that it should be tbh

fixed issue of tor extracting, it now requires a newer version of 7zip to extract (64bit also), the tor download is 64bit anyways

revolt is also working getting the links again

while the origin installer is wix based and can be easily opened the actual data comes from external sources entirely i can look into it further but possibly not
 
ive added sunset messages to all discontinued things (see main post for list) ive also added alternatives to both citra and yuzu (azahar and eden) and these are also downloadable with the discontinued launchers if you so happen to have them

i plan to add more in the future (like ryubing and azaharplus as well as other available 3ds emulators) as possible options but right now its just alternatives

github desktop is usable again with a workaround, its cause it uses the web browser to login that throws it off but i found out how to get around that

ppsspp is downloading again

added a sunset message for ryujinx along with ryubing and an option to import data from ryujinx to ryubing if you so happened to use the launcher for it

discord / discord canary: i have figured out how to get them working but not in ways that i care for

gimp / ntlite: either are no longer inno extractors, or, are no longer openable with innounp, gimp i found a workaround but it hangs after a bit so its postponed

itch.io: just fails to get the download link will probably work on it next
