When I try to open my NDS forwarders that I got using the NDS forwarder generator, they get stuck on an endless white screen while making a save file.

I have the same issue on some games but not all, is there a list of games that don't work? I get past the first company logo-screens and the game is about to load but then the screen goes black. i followed the TWLfix-guide.

Make sure your forwarder pack is up to date, should be able to just download "DS Forwarder Packs" from Universal-Updater, maybe get nds-bootstrap too, though at the moment I think the latest is included in the forwarder pack.

If you still have issues on the latest, try holding Y while loading the forwarder and changing the per-game settings, I think the ARM9 CPU clock speed and Card Read DMA are most likely to cause issues.

This is still a problem. Please help us. I'm experiencing the exact same thing and comments in comment sections around youtube seem to indicate it's a common issue
Which application did you use to create the forwarder?

I got it to work!
I used "SuperCard DSTWO" like shown in the video in "[NDS] Forwarder CIAs for your HOME Menu" which didn't work for me so I switched to "DSi/3DS SD Card" which didn't work initially but works now.

i know its been 2 years but what setting should those values be?

67 MHz is the generally more stable setting for CPU clock. Not sure Card Read DMA is still a thing, but if it is I think on is usually the default so try turning it off.

Personally I fixed it by making sure I run a DS game once through twilight menu, I was opening straight from NDS Forwarder shortcut.

Another fix I've heard of, SD into computer, shorten the rom name. SD back in, delete game in settings, run NDS Forwarder again.

OH MY GOD I FIGURED OUT THE SOLOUTION!! Well, for dsi enhanced games atleast. This is mainly for the gen 5 pokemon games. Open settings by holding Y while the game from the home screen is loading, then switch into "dsi mode" at the player mode thing. This fixed it for me! But remember to do it for all dsi enhanced games.
