You need to use the files in R4i-SDHC YSMenu folder.

If it doesn't work right away, rename YSMenu.nds to _BOOT_DS.nds and then replace R4.dat with this file:

iTouchDS isn't officially supported.

I also do not have this issue on the cart that it is based on (M3 DS Real). If you have a TTMenu folder, you need to update it with the ones in `M3Real M3iZero YSMenu`.

Hangeom DS(K) and Made In Ore(J) has difficulty in creating save file. Selecting 'Ignore (X)' when there is no .sav file runs the game normally.

No, that card can't even use YSMenu. It's an Ace3DS+ clone so you'll want to use https://flashcard-archive.ds-homebrew.com/Ace3DS+_R4iLS/ (which is better anyways)

It boots up ok but some of the games i cant select anything any ideas?

Looks like i found the problem when calibrating the DS screen it doesn't get past the first part so the Ds is faulty.

Some carts don't work right away with R4i-SDHC.

Rename YSMenu.nds to `_BOOT_DS.NDS`, and then replace R4.dat with this file: https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/TWiL...ocket, R4i Gold (v1.4.1) (3DS) & R4xDS/R4.DAT

The Card runs on my N3DSXL latest Firmware, i just thought that there is a newer Menu than Wood 1.64 or some replacement.

Wood 1.64 is the newer menu. There's also really not that much to update considering it's literally the best version for compatibility.

There aren't replacements for those. The DSTWO are the same situation as your R4, the kernel on the SuperCard site is the best there is and it's already fully compatible.

I do not know of a theme database for the DSTWO, however.

what's the best flashcart currently? I believe ace3ds+ has issues with black/white 2 and r4i gold isn't being sold anymore correct?

I think those games work on Ace3DS+ clones if you AP patch manually, so the Ace3DS+ clones are still generally recommended since their Wood kernel is overall better than YSMenu. As of the latest version of TWiLight Menu++ you can use Ace3DS+ clones with TWiLight Menu++ too if you want.

I think the DSTT clones do support ntrboot which the Ace3DS+ clones don't so if you want that and don't mind the couple issues YSMenu has (ex. can't do Wii connection, not sure if anything else tbh) they might be better, but otherwise I think probably better with an Ace3D+ clone.

If you're on a DS/DS Lite or modded DSi/3DS you could also get one of the DSONE clones, they have the best kernel however they don't work on unmodded DSi/3DS and have a high dead on arrival rate so you may need to get 2 or 3 if you want to be sure to get a working one.
