No, since USB from dock works only in OTG mode. And no OTG device can push payload to Switch.

I don't know at technical level what's doing. Only that communication occurs to verify if Switch should switch to dock.

This is not firmware related. Any USB Hub is treated as OTG. Otherwise it won't work.

ipatched switches won't accept any payload, so dunno what you expect. It acts in the same way as rcm loader.

As above, only unpatched v1, yes it acts like a dongle
