There is no need to stick to the same kind of search. I removed that requirement when I put the short cuts in the search tab. ( all other settings are still locked as I didn’t change the code in other tab ). You can start the search with a known value. To do a unknown search you need previous value. Range search can be performed to get previous value. Bookmark screen has the title section in a different color.

I will think about adding undo.

Maybe I am doing it wrong, if I start a search as a known value, then change lets say costume and do different than it gives this message

On another topic, been putting some time aside for ps4 cheats and was able to use my switch codes for RE0 and it works exactly the same on ps4.... so wesker mode from a new game without having to complete the game first.

Will continue to put more time into doing ps4 cheats, its slightly different from what I have been told so far.

Its not like the switch where you can just put the address into a cheat file, its from what I hear asm and you need to do stuff to locate the actual memory address to build a trainer.

That part I have no clue, all I know is how to find what I am looking for with tools like edizion.

But I plan on learning how to build ps4 trainers, finding the cheats is no problem, doing the trainer is the hard part.

But one must learn something new each day and I am willing to learn it no matter how long it takes.

I think I could benefit the ps4 scene and its users wanting cheats as I am a data hoarder and I store and keep everything on hard drives, my ps4 is nearly exceeding 8tb of games.

You missed this "To do a unknown search you need previous value. Range search can be performed to get previous value."
Perform a range search first. Just put a big enough range and you should be able to preserve the list of address while capturing the previous value you need to have to be able to do unknown search. This is a work around. Alternatively if you can use != if the previous one is ==.

FYI I noticed an issue with bookmarks, if you have exited the game, reload the game then go back into edizon se and do a bookmark search all bookmarks get deleted instead of it searching through them.
