Updating CFW on Mod Chip Switch

Hey hey,

some time ago (almost 8 months) I bought a chip moded switch (works ok if I trun it off) running hekate, atmosphere and tinfoil in their latest versions. the system firmware is 11 and was thinking to upgrade to 13.2.

but I am unsure of this operation, because I used the All In One Switch Updater for hekate and atmosphere but I did by mistake overwritten the .ini files...which I solved ! and now everything works just fine .

this is why I am a bit afraid to update the CFW..although the method would be via all in one switcher update download and then trough Daybreak.

What do you say? Anything to worry about ?

You can manually update via hekate sd card mounting feature, AIO updater has a problem that sometime Atmosphere won't boot when updated via AIO updater.

it is working, meaning that atmosphere is booting up. or you say it will not boot AFTER updating the CFW in Daybreak

It will work as long you update properly as in updating CFW files when you update the firmware.

I am not sure about how to check if I am ok to go. AutoRCM, e fuses, fusee_primary vs fusee.bin are kind of confusing me a bit.

Could I also boot with original firmware and update from there? Will this sort it out next time I boot atmosphere ?

Ok. Nailed it. Just run the udate trough AIO and just worked like charm. The chip mod seems to be very strong
