Not a Yuzu user myself but let's see if this works;

Try this following setup:
...Mods Directory/[999 Rare Candy]/cheats/D9E96FB92878E345.txt

Then enable the "mod" and try booting.

There has been way to many people asking how to get EdiZon working and saying that they can't get cheats working.

THIS IS ONLY FOR AMS (might work for SXOS, but I have AMS so that's what I know) ON THE SWITCH.

Please use the search function at the top right of the page and choose search in: "This Thread" to figure out how to make it work for Yuzu.

This is strictly a guide and I will not be providing technical support and or answering help questions.

Also, this guide may be a bit roundabout, but instead of doing known shortcuts to make the process faster, I decided to make the process clearer.

Lastly, if anyone with more experience that I wants to correct me or would like to add edits please tag me and let me know and I will update/fix this! Thanks!


Pre Install Prep
- DO NOT use any type of FTPD or WIFI file transfer if you can help it
- Delete an entirely clean install of EdiZon, EdiZon Overlay, and Telsa Overlay NO OVERWRITING
- Make sure the cheat file is for the correct game and the correct version, Check Page 1 for the most updated build of BDSP.

Files to get ready
- Most Updated Version of Tesla Overlay
- Most Updated Version of EdiZon and EdiZon Overlay
NOTE: EdiZon Overlay for Tesla is in a small hyperlink "here" under the main download and it says "Get the latest EdiZon overlay for Tesla here"
- Most Updated Versions of the game(s) and cheat(s) that you would like to use

Steps to Install
1. Have all files downloaded and extracted to the desktop
2. Plug the Switch's microSD into your computer
3. Place EdiZon.nro in root/switch/
4. Place ovlEdizon.ovl in the .overlays folder located at root/switch/.overlays
- If .overlays folder doesn't exist, create one called .overlays or drag the entire .overlays folder that was downloaded with EdiZonOverlay.zip and drag that folder into root/switch/
5. Drag the atmosphere folder from the nx-ovlloader to the root of your SD card and let the files merge
6. Boot into the CFW and the nand that you installed the files too

First Boot
1. Upon boot, launch the HB Menu by holding R and launching an app, continually hold R until the HB menu loads
2. Launch the EdiZon app. This will load the necessary files and folders and may take a while. If there is no EdiZon app even after installing the .nro in the correct place, you can go to the HB AppStore and download EdiZon/EdiZon SE from the app store to make installing a little more foolproof.
3. After EdiZon successfully is launched, press the home button and return to the switch home screen.
4. From here, press L+Down on D-Pad+Click right stick. This will bring up the Tesla Overlay. Click on EdiZon, then click on Cheats. It should say "No Cheats Loaded."
- Getting to this point ensures that you have installed EdiZon, EdiZon Overlay, and Tesla properly

Installing and Using Cheats
Now for the part you have been waiting for!

1. Download the appropriate cheat that you would like. You can find most cheats from either the first page of the thread like this one or from the main cheat file that is constantly being updated. While the Main Cheat File is constantly updated, I would always default to use the cheats from the specific cheat database thread you are in.
2. Plug your SD card back into the computer and open your SD card
2b. Alternatively, at this point it is ok to use an FTPD but is always recommended to plug your SD card into the computer for better and safer transfers.
3: Unzip and extract the files, then drag and drop the atmosphere folder from the extracted folder (this contains the Game ID, Build ID, and cheats) into the root of your SD card. The folders will merge accordingly.
4. Return the SD card to the switch or end the FTPD connection and launch back into CFW
5. Once on the home screen of the switch, launch the appropriate game.
6. Once in game, activate the Tesla Overlay, click EdiZon > Cheats and if you followed this guide properly, there should be cheats to activate!

Some Tips
- Make sure your cheat file isn't too large. Having too many cheats in the .txt file will cause the file to not load or even crash Tesla/EdiZon
- Make sure all cheats are named with [TEXT HERE]. Not having a bracketed name will prevent EdiZon from seeing the cheat and it may seem like there are no cheats in your cheat file. Make sure if you are copying cheats or adding to the .txt file to also copy the name with the brackets.
- Make sure the Build ID (the name of the .txt file) matches the version and build ID of the game. Ie, BDSP being 1.1.1, if you use 1.1.0 cheats, they will not appear in the overlay because the Build ID of the game and the Build ID of the .txt file are mismatched. Simply changing the name of the .txt file will not always make the cheats work as 99% of the time with a new version updated come new pointers for cheats. Just be patient if you updated as someone will eventually update the cheats for the new version.
- If you still have questions about installation, PLEASE DO NOT ASK HERE OR MY DMS. Search GBA Temp for the proper thread or make one, or look up the Homebrew discord and ask for assistance there.

Not to my knowledge, EdiZon is only for switch. Most emulators come with their own cheat integration system.

I play BD 1.1.1 and most of the codes which are supposed to give you items don't work for me. I'm on atmosphere 1.2.4. The All Berries code works but omits the Roseli Berry. Furthermore, could you please change the codes to give you 900 instead of 999 please so you still can pick up items, please?

In the codes with x999, look for 03E7 (hex value for decimal value 999) and replace with 0384 (hex value for decimal value 900)

Ye it just doesn't you need to get the shiny on mod and quit the game after catching a shiny and turn the cheat off

It should work if you just remove the lines for (80000040) and (20000000), then split the remaining lines into on and off codes. It should be:
