Hacking Question Old Nyx Gui

I keep getting "Old Nyx GUI found! There will be dragons! Update the bootloader folder! Press any key..." Even though I have updated the bootloader folder about 10x straight from Release hekate v5.5.8 & Nyx v1.0.5 · CTCaer/hekate · GitHub . What am I doing wrong?

I just did but it says version 5.2.1. I am booting into hekate from tinfoil. The error message disappeared but I am not on 5.5.8 that I downloaded.

did you drag and drop both and reboot the unit, you can drop the hekate.bin on the root of the SD.

Yes, but the name of the file isn't hekate.bin it's hekate_ctcaer_5.5.8.bin. It seems like tinfoil is loading hekate from somewhere else. Before I updated atmosphere I was using Kosmos and it appears that kosmos is discontinued. At this point I just want to get fifa 19 working again but I can't get it to work no matter what I do.

I don't play Fifa 19 so I can't help you on that, well load hekate 5.5.8 from your computer, payload dongle, what ever way you inject a payload.

I load my payload using pegascape/fakenewshax. It goes straight into atmosphere.

you can press - volume button when it booting atmosphere to get into hekate menu, if you are using pegascape why not just get your file from SD setup instead.

I just did what you told me to lol. I don't even care about playing fifa 19 since fifa 21 works just fine, but I want to know why it isn't working. I'm even considering getting the cartridge to troubleshoot, I am going fucking crazy lol.

Just pressed down volume button and it didn't do anything.

probably the bootwait time for hekate is too short for you to catch it, you have to increase it to catch it if is booting to Atmosphere directly. If you used SD setup files you should be on latest.

Where is the config file that says volume - boots to hekate?

bootwait=3, that determine the time you have to press a button to boot into hekate, if you have atmosphere set to autoboot. increase that number give you more time to press the button to get into hekate.

what you got a patch unit with firmware 4.1.0 and under?

Yes I got the Odyssey bundle when it first came out. I believe I am on 4.1. I don't think my unit is patched though.

You should use RCM method if you are not patched, you should check it out if it is patched or not

Just checked, I am not patched. I don't have an RCM dongle and someone on here made a post years ago saying to use pegaswitch.

Yes. Tinfoil loads payloads from its own folders. They even tell you the folder name when you hover over one and click info. They are extremely outdated. Do NOT use them! Use a proper payload launcher. Or even use the payload launch feature from Hamlet's AIO.

Pegascape use emunand, so no if you never installed pirated game on sysnand.
