Hacking Question need some help on 12.1.0

disclaimer: new to switch CFW
unpatched switch is on 12.1.0

im having trouble launching homebrew menu in full ram mode

no issue with 90dns
no issue sending fusee load from tegra
no issue booting into atmosphere
no issue launching hbm in applet mode by opening album

using atmosphere 19.5 and fusee primary from atmosphere's github
19.5 sigpatches from the maintained thread here on gbatemp


when i hold R and open any game/app (tested with youtube, tetris99 and fortnite and tinfoil) i cant get hbm to launch in full ram mode.
i want full ram mode for retroarch btw.

my atmosphere/config folder is empty so i assume that means its using the R. ive also tried creating a override_config.ini in that folder with the following lines but that didnt work either

[hbl_config]
override_any_app=true
override_any_app_key=R
override_any_app_address_space=39_bit
path=atmosphere/hbl.nsp

not really sure what im doing wrong - so i implore the pros here for some help

that would be outstanding.

still no idea why R+launch wont work though? would could it possibly be? packs not recognizing program ids or something?
i'm kind of at a loss...

Make sure you use fusee patches not hekate if you load via fusee primary, as for forwarder you can get it here

great im going to try the forwarder now

as for the sigpatches, i would just download the zip here and extract to the root of my sd card correct?
looks like the fusee one would extract a bootloader folder, as well as some folders into my atmosphere folder

nothing special that im missing with the install?

No, the hekate one has a bootloader folder. But otherwise, yes, nothing else special you need to do.
