Hi. I just installed homebrew onto my Nintendo 3DS, and I found a list of a lot of apps and games. When I click on the (Github) links, there's no .cia or .3dsx (I'd prefer cia) file. So is there some way I can turn a bunch of Github files into a .cia file? Could I do this from the linux command line? Thanks!

That's the exact guide that I followed. It doesn't tell me how to install apps, though.
Of course it does:

Perhaps you could give an example of what github links you are referring to, and where you are finding these github links? Because no, you generally do not "turn a bunch of Github files into a .cia file".

of course there is a way to convert files from github in to cia
install dev environment & compile it yourself
although i cannot actively verify this, as i never did that
but that's the point of open-source
but i want a ready-made cia, too (see my previous answer above)
