Works fine for me.
I'm on latest atmosphere with emummc and I chain load fusee from hekate off my dongle and i hear no sound. I have 00FF0000000002AA in atmosphere/titles and bootsound in config and it doesn't work. I tried the same sounds that worked on my sx console and no dice. Whats your set up?

atmosphere uses atmosphere/contents and not atmosphere/titles anymore

Always work until fw 10.2 :), thanks a lot :)

I have an uncommon problem after installing BootSoundNX on my Mariko unit with SX OS v3.1.0, FW 10.2.0 (tried on SX v3.0.5, it still occurs).
When I have this sysmodule installed sometimes I can't boot to CFW - the screen goes black after Nintendo logo and nothing happens and sometimes I get an error with code: 2168-0002 (this error occurs rarely). After few tries, it boots normally and it works properly and I hear boot sound (so BootSoundNX seems to be working?).
When I uninstall this sysmodule I have previous symptoms (black screen after Nintendo logo and error code: 2168-0002) and it won't boot no matter how many times I try.
It happened right after installing BootSoundNX when I restarted my switch to try if it's working so no way something else is causing it (or maybe?).
Does anyone have an idea of what might be going on? I'm so confused, I don't know what to do.

if not, sourcecode would be nice and someone who has skills to update it :)
Source code is available on GitHub. Here's a build I just made with the latest LibNX. Haven't tested it. If it's anything more complicated than just rebuilding it then I don't have time to mess with it right now. I did have to stub something out in utils.c but it seems to just be a function to call fatal so hopefully it won't be important.

Oh shit. I hope we could get an update soon. This is one of those great homebrews.
Got confirmation that he has quit the scene. All of his projects are abandoned now.

The only issue after testing this out more is that any bootsound that's longer than a second or two now has a noticeable stutter in the middle.

Eh? Did you test any sound longer than a couple of seconds? There's a very noticeable stutter on any of them for me. Latest atmosphere and firmware and no other sysmodules running.
