I recently downloaded some mods for me to use in Breath of The Wild in the switch, only problem is they aren’t being used when I play it. For example activate the linkle mod, linkle model doesn’t replace links. I’m using SimpleModManager and need some help on figuring out what I’m doing wrong please?

Was there a readme with the mods?

Are you using atmosphere it SXOS?

Where did you place the mods? Usually you have to put them in an 'exefs' folder in a title folder for each game.

I use atmosphere, I’ll have to check back in the readme in a while as I’m about to be busy. I placed them in the ‘mods’ file in the root of my sd card

Ah yes.

Mod Manager is used to turn mods on and off. You have to link it the location of the mods you use. But you don't have the mods in the right place right now.

They will go in the "contents" folder for atmosphere. Then in contents you make a folder for the game with its title ID and then a "romfs" folder inside that. And then your mods.

Your mods you download will most probably have the correct structure all ready to drag and drop into contents.

So example,

contents/01007EF00011E000/romfs/Actor/Pack/GameRomCamera.sbactorpack

Also, when you copy some mods over you need to restart your switch before they'll work.

I’m in my contents folder and don’t see a folder that look reads 01007EG00011E000 but there is a folder that does contain a romfs folder

I’m dumb and didn’t realize there was an atmosphere file within the file for atmosphere

You need to create the folder yourself. Create "01007EF00011E000" for Zelda. What mod is it you're trying. It should have the folders ready to drop into that Zelda title folder
