Qué vergüenza y tristeza, no puedo importar texturas, si pudiera, sería genial poder poner cualquier mod de PC en el interruptor

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

What a shame and sad I cannot import textures, if you could it would be great to be able to put any pc mod in switch

I converted and merged all mod to work together, anyone can use it if you want:
+ "Remove Intro Movies" converted by @emantec
+ "Health Regen, Over 9000 weight, Stack size 1000" converted by @Edanls
+ "Signs Tweak, Better Trophies, More Realistic Food And Drink, Potions Food Oils Bombs Bolts Rebalance, Change Your Weather, Improved Mutations" converted by @Syynx
+ "Gear Improvements Last Longer - GILL, Increased Creature Loot" converted by me @zPatnln201

Nice, very nice. Thanks. I don't know how much this have been developed further, but I can confirm these mods work for update v3.7. See image below.
Top image is no rom_fs and bottom is rom_fs added. Just to show the difference between the Over 9000 weight mod. :)

Hope more can be added / converted.

The patch created by Potato_of_Doom is not available anymore and I found a way to transfer saves from Switch to PC without cloud saves!

The author is VitGil ( the original post in Russian - ht tps ://4pda.ru/forum/index.php?showtopic=939714&st=3720#entry94382380 ).

The main issue is that the latest version for PC (1.32) is "older" than the latest version for Switch (1.60). Because of this, you can bring saves from PC to Switch (they will be automatically converted by the game), but you can't do it another way around. However, there is a workaround. You can use Offzip.exe software to unpack the save file and some HEX editor to change the version of the game inside the save the file.

1. Make a backup of the game saves using Checkpoint and copy the desired .png and .sav files to your PC.
2. Download the Offzip ( ht tps ://aluigi.altervista.org/mytoolz.htm#offzip ) software and unpack it somewhere. For simplicity let's say you unpacked it to the folder "new" at the root directory of D drive ( D:\new ).
Open the command line and enter the following command:
path_to_file_Offzip.exe -a path_to_save_file_from_switch path_to_folder_where_to_save_file_for_pc 0
Example:
D:\new\offzip -a D:\new\ManualSave_5a81a_7e40f000_5e09c00.sav D:\new\pc_save_file 0
The extracted file will have a similar name: 0000000c.snf.
3. Download and install som HEX editor (the author of the solution uses HxD ( ht tps ://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/ )). Open the .snf file (from the "pc_save_file" folder) in any convenient HEX editor, and go (the key shortcut for HxD is Ctrl + G) at offset C16 and change the value to 12 (your value can be 15 or 14 or something else, it doesn't matter - change to 12). Save changes and close HEX editor.
4. Rename recently edited .snf file to the name of the original save file from the Nintendo Switch (e.g. ManualSave_5a81a_7e40f000_5e09c00.snf ) and copy it along with the .png file with the same name to the directory with saves for your Witcher 3:
...My Documents\Witcher 3\ gamesaves
5. ...
6. PROFIT

You should be able to load modified save at your PC.

PS Works only with manual saves. This method doesn't work for autosaves.

The author tested this with 1.31 GOG, I tested with 1.32 GOG, some folks in the thread confirmed that this method worked with the Steam version as well.

Hey everyone! Just want to confirm that this proposed method does work! I'm using Witcher 3 on Steam and just succesfully transferred my save file from my switch using Checkpoint.

I'm going to be transferring back and forth between modded switch version and modded PC version. (Love the visuals on PC, but really enjoy portability of switch)

Finally, I'm a little new to all this so I got stuck at first until I realized what I was doing wrong. So I'm going to share and maybe this will help someone else.
  • Before you enter the command using command prompt be sure to already make a folder called pc_save_file (you'll be using this as the destination folder for the new .snf file that you will edit with HxD)
  • Also, remember to type in offzip.exe in the command and enter in the name of the folder you made (pc_save_file)
  • SO, what you type in the command should look like (according to the example already given): D:\new\offzip\offzip.exe -a D:\new\ManualSave_5a81a_7e40f000_5e09c00.sav D:\new\pc_save_file
  • Also, once HxD is open that's when you "Ctrl+G" and then type in C16, and then change the value from 16 to 12.
  • Lastly, rename the newly edited .snf file to .sav when you put it into your Witcher 3 save directory.
Good luck! :)

Hi Mate,

I am interested in using this mod...Does it work with the newly released standalone edition? which doesn't include all the DLC.

I have not tested this, but in theory it should work for the standalone version, because it's the same codebase. Only the ID has changed as far as I know. I would suggest to try it out :)

I tried this method but when I execute the command in the command line it says: -no valid full zip data found

I tried the manual save transfer but when I type the command in the command line it says: - no valid full zip data found. How do I fix this?

Why can't you just downgrade to 3.6 on the switch and continue using cloud saves?
That's exactly what I've done and don't have any issues at all.

You can just uninstall the 3.7 update and install 3.6 update.
I can share 3.6 update.
Its not that simples. If he started the game on 3.7 the switch wont let him play the 3.6 unless he downgrade the game using the correct homebrew.

I see. What software do I need to uninstall the 3.7 update?
Did you start the game on the 3.7 version? If not you can use dbi to uninstall the update. Or just uninstall the whole game as usual and then install it (v0) once again and then 3.6 update

Did you extract/unzip offzip first?

And did your command look something like this:

D:\new\offzip\offzip.exe -a D:\new\ManualSave_5a81a_7e40f000_5e09c00.sav D:\new\pc_save_file

So apparently Nintendo even requires consoles to be unbanned to use simple things like cloud saves. I was unable to find a fix anywhere so just created it myself: Here is an ips patch to enable cloud saves for both gog and steam on banned consoles.
Just drop the contents of the zip in your atmosphere folder and enjoy the power of cloud saves.

Hello, friend. It seems I did everything as you told us to and yet, I still can't access my cloud saves. I keep getting error 2155-8007. If possible, would you know any way to fix it? I'm on an Atmosphere Switch with the latest updates applied (both game and console) I'm looking forward for your answer. Have a good day!
