After what’s happened to max and Gary I don’t think anyone will be touching this, it’s been out long enough to be cloned and none are on the market

The chinese will take care of it, at some point we will see clones of them on aliexpress etc.

why do you want to risk soldering a cheap nasty clone to your console.

because there is currently no possibility to buy an "original" chip.

If you look youll find one, but then again if you cant, why risk your console by soldering a clone when clone chips are known to be defective.

You might aswell throw your console out the window.

But, theoretically, some people may make clones not for manufacturing, but for personal use

regardless of reviews, clones are always made using inferior and cheaper board, solder, chips and software usually comes with bugs and flaws.

simply not worth the risk when you can get the legit chip.

Well they were able to dump the firmware of the modchip so with that information and the right parts, its probably possible for anyone with the knowledge to make a clone for personal use at least.

Not like TX was using high quality parts. Xbox 360 Clones are the best and keep it going.

I mean, if its only a rumor, do you really think its credible? This is why some people have issues with TX; they are not transparent about a lot of thins which makes it harder to trust their work.

If you're talking about twitter, it has been confirmed more than plenty times that all of those accounts are fake.

We won't be seeing an update as long as Gary OPA is in jail period.
