Hacking [SWITCH RCM] Semi-brick error 2002-4686 after failed NSP install

Hello all,

TL/DR: Switch V1 RCM that was running SXOS semi-bricked after a "seemingly successful" NSP install, and gives me the error 2002-4686. Tried updating online, rebuilding the MMC, downgrading to 9.2.0 with no success.
Please, read below for an in depth explanation!.

I have a Switch V1 RCM that was running SXOS and semi-bricked after a "seemingly successful" NSP install.
I have it giving me the error screen 2002-4686 right after the Switch logo screen.
Researching a bit I found this error could be tied to either microSD failure or something related to a game cart being inserted. None of this seems to be the culprit since I can use (boot Hekate and browse the files in it) and the later not having any cart inserted.

Things I have tried so far:
1) Updated online using the +- recovery menu
2) Completely rebuilt the eMMC structure using this guide: https://suchmememanyskill.github.io/guides/unbrick/#mmc-rebuild
3) Downgraded to 9.2.0 using this guide: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...nofficially-without-burning-any-fuses.507461/
4) Updated online using the +- recovery menu (after everything was attempted)

Things I noticed:
1) During the downgrade from 11.0.1 to 9.2.0, when mounting the 29GB eMMC partition HacDiskMopunt was accusing the GPT to be corrupted (I fixed using SX OS Fix GPT)
2) During the downgrade from 11.0.1 to 9.2.0, at the vary last step of passing the USER files to the partition, I could not mount it properly, even though the HacDiskMount was green when testing the key.
3) The error stayed the same after the downgrade with the only difference being the version (was 11.0.1 and now is 9.2.0 )

Is there anything else I could try?

@mvmiranda why didnt you just restored nand backup or you dont have one and have you tried using another sd card with SXOS or Atmosphere before doing all this

This is a customer's console and he didn't take any NAND backup :/
I have previously tried a different known good SD with a fresh copy of Atm with no success as well.

EDIT: btw its appear this is a known error that happens on unhacked consoles too so most probably the NSP he installed is not the issue here

Yup, I saw... I even experienced a weird issue related to my USER partition when downgrading.
But I didn't see any means to fix this. Is there any way to recreate this partition?

You can probably use HacDiskMount to reformat it, iirc some system saves are stored on that partition so be sure to back up any save files before that. https://switchtools.sshnuke.net/

no sure there are some guides on fixing partitions but dont know about the user one you should check
i never had an issue like that i always make a NAND backups even several

Yeah Windows probably can't understand it because it's corrupt but since it's mounted like any other drive you can right click on it in the file explorer and format it. Switchbrew says the format is fat32. If Windows doesn't let you do it natively MiniTool Partition Wizard will. Of course since Windows can't understand it I'm not sure how you will pull the data off of it. Maybe back up the back up and just see if the Switch will allow you to just use a completely empty partition. Worse case scenario you just use the other backup.
