I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to this stuff but what I'm trying to do is extract audio files from a Taiko no Tatsujin DLC NSP, I don't know what I require, I did use the 'NCA-NSP-XCI to LayeredFS extractor, but I get a few errors when I attempt to perform any sort of extraction. Usually it says the sectors are corrupted, I'd appreciate if anyone here is able to help me figure out this thing as I've been trying for a few days now.

Have you tried the NSCBuilder? that one should be able to extract whatever you need! :D and by the way, NCA-NSP-XCI to LayeredFS is not by me, i just posted the work of someone else who made the script!

My bad! I thought you had made it, I'll fix it in the OP. By the way, is using NSCBuilder as easy as providing the nsp and letting it do it's thing? Or are there a few more additional steps I'd have to take to extract a few audio files?

It super easy, take a look at it.

I'm going to assume by "LayeredFS" you mean the RomFS. LayeredFS is just the service for replacing them on the fly.
I'm having some trouble figuring out how to exactly do this, would you mind telling me how to go about extracting raw/audio files with NSCBuilder?
- Press 6 from the mode select menu to select advanced mode
- Drag and drop the nsp/xci onto the window
- Hit 1 to start processing
- 4 to extract the nca contents
The files should show up in NSCB_extracted once done. Keep in mind that this assumes you've already set up keys

The folders return with nca folders of 'fragment' files, is this supposed to happen?

Most games should have one of the folders containing a romfs folder with all the files inside - you just need to find the right one.
I'm extracting a DLC nsp by itself, is that the problem? Do I need to merge the Base, update, and DLC and THEN extract?

Depends on what you're trying to do. Some dlcs are completely downloaded with all its content, like Octo Expansion, whereas others are simply a "key" that unlocks content within the main game files, such as SSBU

The file that I have is over 2GB in size, that should mean it isn't just the keys, assuming the DLC unlocker would be like 200KB in size, right?
