I have put in a GBA game and a SNES game. The GBA game showed as "Grim Fandango" (was actually a backup of my Fire Red cart) and didn't boot. The SNES game showed as "Super Jinsei Game" (was actually a backup of my Super Metroid cart). I followed to get it set up. It caused some issues (such as coverflow making the console selector black, flashing the wiiflow logo when it is disabled, and of course the topic of the post). What do?

Tip buddy, try not to use video tutorials next time you want to do something with the wii. Modmii or something else can help better in my opinion.

I use video tutorials because text guides (most of the time) have no visual guides and I have to guess what the hell I'm doing because they don't explain clearly enough.

Oof, well you could use Complete Softmod guide and Wii.guide as they work very well, at least for me. This is just a recomendation though. The reason why i don´t like video tutorials is because, sometimes they use older version of things that are buggy, so you could get stuff that are old or not working, guides are less subsibitable to this, mostly though the video maker does not know very well about Homebrew after all. But, That´s just my opinion about video tutorials.

I deleted all the video told me to put in and am trying this then looking for how to put in the plugins for rooms. https://gbatemp.net/threads/wiiflow-lite-setup-full-tutorial.550801/

What formate are your ROMs in. Some emulators don't like zip files.

Don't skip the WFC conv step either that why your getting a black screen and wiiflow

I used the guide I linked and got it to at least not be black. We'll see if roms work soon.
