I can do a service but its done differently.
Basically if I was sent just the flex cables and console I could solder the flex and send it back then you attach the final piece your end and screw the backplate back on.
But physically touching a chip nope.
As soon as I touch a chip ninty will hit me for tpm bypass
Also means I can't do a lite unless the person soldered the last 2 points themselves which are easy
Was contacted directly from a legal team. Which they used the tx post I did to use servicesWould you be comfortable saying if they contacted you directly or was it through them contacting the site here ?
That sounds to me more than reasonable. Thanks for keeping your support to this community. Big respect to people like you.Nintendo ninjas yo

Is this actually viable, and what sort of kit would one need? It sounds straightforward requiring little more than the tri-wing screwdriver?
In theory the exploit (even if Atmosphere itself is fine) is the TPM bypass. Even if ReSwitched made their own chip, it would be illegal under DMCA and the EU directive for circumvention of the protection method.Should be viable as the switch still boots normally, with the flex cables added. No tpm is bypassed. No chip was touched, no software/hardware security was modified on my end.
The main concern on tpm bypass is sxos, if atmosphere devs pulled finger out and made it work for the chips themselves it wouldn't even be an issue.
But they all prissy and would rather cut their own nose off then have a larger userbase.
And yeah for cores should be as simple as using a triwing and a small Phillips.
The lite needs the 2 easiest solder points done.

you got a picture of the install i can fix these kinds of things usuallyHi i'd like to get a SX core installed. Someone has tried and now the switch doesn't power on. Is this something you can resolve, or am I SOL, and need to get a new switch?

yeah send a picture because the console should still bootThe install has been removed. Im happy to send you the switch to look at and investigate. I've got a 2nd switch turning up as well just in case. I can't PM you or anything as new member.

this point on the boardWhat would you like a picture of? I dont have one of the install, as it's been removed. I have the device, and it's black screen at all times. Although I do notice that when I try to power it on, I see the lights flashing on the joy cons.
