Hmm that's weird.

Try using this (DBI), its like a more straightforward goldleaf, use it to reset the required version.
If it still persists, I'm afraid the problem would be the save file itself, maybe it is incompatible with the previous versions of the game?
You could try backing up saves first and delete them, see if the prompt is still there

I made an account just to inform that this thing works. Thank you! I finally reset the version of my SOS:FMT. Just follow MagnesG instruction:
1) Use DBI to reset the game version.
2) Back up your save file (I used, checkpoint).
3) Delete the original save data from the data management.
4) Reset your console and your good the "game update required" will not show anymore and the game version will be 1.0.0.
5) Restore your save file.

***I did not try first to reset my console after resetting the game version maybe this is the fastest way even without backing up the save files...

that is not true with asm code. You have to know what you are doing with asm codes or it will crash your game. I did not update the cheats for this game because i did not like the game. Maybe i will take a look at it again later. after crysis.

please update this cheat codes. the problem with lionheart's post is the time, weather etc. whenever activating the cheat crashes the game.
