Hardware Hyperkin's RetroN S64 Console Dock Brick?

So I need another dock and I can’t afford Nintendo’s $90 one. These little n64 shaped ones are on sale at a local store for $25. I was wondering if anyone has and uses one and has any problems such as bricking since I heard third party docks brick systems.

also will this charge my switch lite? Not display it but charge it because I’ll be using the lites power cable to power it since it doesn’t come with its own power supply.

I need it to hook up to a tv. That one just charges the lite. I have two an original and a lite
