ROM Hack Question Animal crossing NH cross console transfer?

i was wondering if it was possible to lets say... download someone else's animal crossing save in overwrite/replacing my own hacked switch?
i assume its not possible as googling doesn't yield any results on this matter. are saves hard locked to a console?

if not can someone upload a save i can experiment with? (with progress at least up to having nooks cranny unlocked?)

as i imagined so far there seems to be a ID lock on the save, i will have to find a way around that as importing as is makes it corrupt


EDIT: got it, damn this is a good island btw, leagues above my legit switches copy lol. i have a lot to look forward to in my game. thanks again

Nice glad you got it to work, any tips for people looking to do the same?

And yeah, that island represents over 150 hours of work.

So I'm trying to get my save from one switch (cfw) to another hacked switch for animal crossing but i restore the JKSV file but it just starts new game each time. I was hoping to find a save with airport tutorial done as unfortunately I have to go through it each time and either the flags I selected in NHSE dont work or I cant find the correct ones to get past them.

how come you have to go to airport tutorial each time? just.. save the game after doing it and backup your save after?

are you making sure to delete your existing save before you import the new one? and it goes without saying but latest cfw and game version too.
