So i had my New 3DS XL which got water damaged a while ago and also dropped on the ground (motherboard and bottom screen was not in the system when it dropped on ground) and then i bought another New 3DS XL TN Top/IPS Bottom recently.

But the top screen was really bad with ghosting and dimming such so i thought i would do a motherboard swap into my previous New 3DS XL which had a nice top TN screen and also throw in the bottom screen which is an IPS but after doing all that it wont turn on anymore and then same thing happened with the water damaged New 3DS XL motherboard when i put that one in. Only get Orange light when charging on both boards.

I have another New 3DS XL on the way but this time it has a Top IPS Screen and Bottom TN Screen. I'm probably gonna swap the bottom TN screen with the IPS screen i have but am kinda worried if it's the screen that did damage to the motherboard? The Bottom IPS Screen was working perfectly before i did the swaps btw. Or was it perhaps something that was in the top screen that caused the damage?

Yeah i know, but I'm just paranoid because i had my N3DSXL motherboard get busted when putting the mobo and lower ips screen in another N3DSXL shell & top screen. I'm gonna assume something from the old shell + top screen short circuited my motherboard?

Is it possible the lower screen could have got damaged too or nah? Just don't wanna do the simple screen swap to find out i have another busted N3DSXL lol.

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
