Hacking TX Status update on their SX Core/Lite mods

Earlier today, Team-Xecuter shared a little update before promising to drop more precise information next week

The world is in panic mode across hundreds of countries with problems of covid-19, but TX been silent on what is happening since they asked for modchip testers a few weeks ago, but today they finally break the cone of silence and posted a quick update on their site.

First as you can guess, we are suffering some delays due to the corona virus pandemic. Closed or requisitioned factories, unavailable or inflated components prices etc. We unfortunately are much behind schedule.

But good news, the situation is getting better and we will start taking preorders next week and ship the review/test samples in the following days.

To give a loose schedule, after the review samples are tested, we will probably need little time to finalize the SX Core and SX Lite and start mass production and ship to vendors so they can fulfill preorders. We are ready, again, the delay is only due to current situation which is slowly getting back to normal at our production site.

Both SX Core and SX Lite will come with an included SX OS license (as with SX Pro). CFW (custom firmwares) will also be supported.

Sadly, nothing new in the way of cool pics or more info was released, but they are promising all that is coming next week at some point, so all we can do is wait some more, and stay safe, and stay indoors and play our video games on our currently hacked consoles.

Yea right. You could sell the SX OS license here or anywhere else if you don't need it. Just make sure to not activate it before.

You would have to be able to hack it, with as much ability as needed to hack the switch itself. Maybe a bunch of you are FPGA REs and where just waiting for this day to shine?

nothing stops you from running android w/o it unless your refeering to patched switches. good to hear things are slowing down a bit for SXOS's troubles. as much so many have a love/hate relationship w/ em, there are the bigger picture parts people haveto consider.

You would have to manually launch the payload from SXOS or the boot menu.

SX OS has no issues with booting Hekate, so Android will be possible. Just bare in mind that Android was not thoroughly tested on other devices than OG Switch, so not everything may work from the start.
