My Wii U is 5.5.1 and all the software for hack is up to date.

I can play Mario Kart and Smash bro and other games.

But when I run Need for Speed, the loadline shows the process bar but suddenly it back to the game selection and Need for speed won't load.

Any advice will be appreciated.

The game folder name has the game name and the id. The game could run on PC emu, so I think the files are good.

Thanks.

afaik, retail copies can be used without cfw. in fact, wii u usb loader even tells you which stuff is cfw only. anything related to the eshop can't be used without exploiting the system (i.e. cfw).

So you're playing a pirated copy without having hacked your Wii U? Can I ask how? Haxchi is still a form of CFW if that's what you're implying.
Need For Speed Most Wanted is a disk based game with no DLC at all so it does not requires any form of cfw in order to install nor play it on a Wii U, meanind you could grab a brand new Wii U, open up the web browser, choose the web exploit of your choise, run HBL, run Wup installer, install Need for Speed and go back to the Wii U menu and run the game without even looking at the Eshop icon to even attempting to install base Haxchi. And that's the reason i never even bothered with Coldboot Haxchi, because i do have alot of stuff on my Wii U that will run without the use of a cfw, so the extra time it would take to boot a game like Need for Speed through Coldboot Haxchi would be more or less a waste of time.

Lol anyone playing games like that is nuts. Why not just install CBHC at that point? Its so easy and saves you time from having to do the dumb web exploit every time.

I’m confused by what you mean when you say CBHC leads to extra time to launch games, it doesn't at all. You turn on your Wii U, get to the main menu in no time and there the game is to launch, boot it and it loads just as quickly as a legit game.

You do realize the web exploit part was an example? Also i use the quick boot feature for games that don't requires cfw so i don't even see the Wii U menu anyways. If i need to run something that needs Cfw then by that point i have Haxchi ready to go but Coldboot Haxchi is more or less useless for me.

Hello,

Did you install the game update ??

Thanks for your reply.

I copied the update folders into the game folder, is that correct way to update?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Thank you for all the reply.

My mindset is still years ago. I will try the recommended wup installer tonight.

I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.

In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol

I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
