Hacking Question Old hacked SD card for hacking another console

Hi all, I have an interesting question of using old SD card on a to-be-hacked switch.
Does anyone know if I could directly use that SD card to run CFW??

It is best that you use latest available CFW files so it is better off if you start from scratch.

Yeah, I recognize that's the simplest way, yet I want to skip the tedious NSP-installing hours

Game installed from on Console won't work on another, they are console specific, you can save up your game in NSP format and reinstall.

Yea you can transfer you save by backing them up with like Checkpoint.

You can only do that if you still have the old console. Otherwise, you need to rely on cloud saves (if you paid for NSO...) which doesn't work for every game.
