Hi there,
I have been trying now for the entire afternoon to set up Atmosphere on a switch that belongs to a friend of mine. However I was not successful. I can inject the payload just fine, but trying to either boot another payload (like LockPickRCM, which gives me a black screen after selecting to dump my keys and freezes the console) or trying to boot either Stock OS or a EMUMMC CFW, I am getting the hekate screen shortly, but after that the screen turns black and I can't do anything more. To get back to RCM I need to hold down power for approx. 10 seconds before trying it again. I did download the files again, formated my sd card, even went as far as to try the sd card from my own Switch, which at least lets me run Lockpick, but I am still not able to boot anything. The SD Card is a brand new (just bought it yesterday) SanDisk A1 with 64GB, and it is a legit one. The switch itself is running Firmware 9.10. Do you have any ideas what could be the problem here?

I recommend the following steps:
  1. Make sure your SD card is formatted as FAT32
  2. Make a NAND backup with the latest version of Hekate if you haven't already. Store it somewhere safe.
  3. Remove all CFW files/folders from your SD card (that would be folders like /sept/ and /atmosphere/)
  4. Download the latest Atmosphere from github
  5. Download the latest fusee-primary (next to Atmosphere)
  6. Download these signature patches
  7. Put Atmosphere and the signature patches onto your SD card
  8. Put the SD into your Switch
  9. Launch Atmosphere using fusee-primary
If you run into any issues, let me know which step it happens.

Thank you for your fast response.
1. Yes, it is formated as Fat32
2. Downloading every thing again did not help.
After injecting the fusee-primary payload I get a Error "Fatal error: Failed to initialize the SD Card Press Power to Reboot"

When you boot your Switch normally, can it read the SD card?

Yeah, I have no idea what the problem is then. I recommend a.) trying a different SD card, or b.) reformatting the SD card with SD Formatter (doing an overwrite format). You might have to use guiformat again after B.

Edit: To be clear, the problem is either your SD card or your SD card reader.

Alright,
first thank you for your help. I will try to do the reformat, and otherwise get a different SD Card tomorrow, and reply again.
