BTW before i get jumped on i dont agree with any of the disputed comments but your all complaining about hate and yet your hating on blawar without proof it was actually him

Its a bad day when when homebrew is now being used to spread homophobic and transphobic hatred. I'm actually for once lost for words

Fail to see how this is homophobic. Its a perfectly fine opinion that people are entitled to. People are far too quick to throw labels around like bigot or hateful because someone has a different view than you. Which ironically is a bigoted thing to do.

Edit: I still think political views should be kept out of homebrew software regardless

Those messages accuse gays of child abuse and handwave gender nonconformity on mental disorder though, which is as homophobic/transphobic as you can get. Is it a personal opinion? Naturally. Is he entitled to it? Sure. Is he a hateful bigot for saying that? You bet he is.

Repeat after me HATE SPEECH IS FREE SPEECH. It's their right to say it, it's your right to express your disapproval and stop using it.
And it's GitHub's right to ban hate speech, as well as other people's rights to call someone out on their bigotry. Freedom of speech carries responsibility.

It's hate, nothing else. Stop using free speech as a shield when it's only intolerance.
Its an opinion you disagree with. Dont tell me not to support free speech because you're upset at someone elses views.

If someone made a NES emulator with a splash screen at start up that said "Trans Rights" should that be pulled from github if someone people got offended and complained? No. It shouldn't.

"Hate speech" isnt "mean words or opinions that hurt my feelings". Hate speech is incitement to violence.

Are you sugesting Github censor free speech?
the right to free speech protects you from the government censoring you. github is not a government entity, and can choose to host whatever content they want. this has nothing to do with free speech.

The big difference being saying you support Trans Rights is not hate speach.

I got you. Here's the link: https://github.com/blawar/translations/blob/master/translate.json#L1426 It's official blawar has lost it.

Not that there was any doubt, wasn't it him that threatened someone with a gun?

I looked up Gender Dysphoria https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gender_dysphoria and he has a point on that one. However he either doesn't understand what he's saying, or hope others don't. If you have distress that your brain doesn't match your body then you can choose to change one or the other, both choices are valid.

For gay couples adopting, the only people who are abusing the children in that scenario are those that say that it's wrong.

I do not think that a platform should have the right to ban anything thats not illegal (there is a difference between a platform and a publisher), and its not your place to impose any further consequences apart from expressing your disapproval. Yes you can call them out, and they can tell you to GTFO and that's that.
