Hey Andres,

observa tus apuntes gracias

I have the same problem with a switch I have, The fan just won't work on it and it overheats, Have you tried removing the
diode and see if the short goes away ? I may just jumper my fan to 5v and ground on the board if I can't find a way to get rid of the short, it will be on all the time but at least it won't overheat and shut down.

Yes at the bottom marked, although it looks like you board doesn't have one. I've test mine and it shows ground both sides. My board is a patched model.

I'm going to remove the diode later and see if it removes the short, it should work fine without the diode as it just stops voltage travelling in the wrong direction from what I've read. I had a 8tb hard drive that wouldn't work untill I removed a shorted diode. If it still won't work I'm going to jumper 5v from a cap directly to the fan, not ideal but at least the fan will work.....

How did you remove the diode? This is completely new to me. Can I use the really small tweezers to take it off?
No, it will need to be desoldered, and if this is completely new to you, I would strongly advise against attempting this yourself.

Your best bet would be to try and find someone local to you that can do it for you.
