Update your cores from within retroarch.creating nsp redirected from nes classic and snes classic controls don't work.

I'm on 9.0.1 and I've got the issue where the nsp boots fine but controls aren't working. I'm using emunand on kosmos/atmosphere. I was using version 3.3.5 to make my nsps, should I switch to 3.3.6? Is that the problem or something else? Also the nros themselves work in the homebrew menu and were updated for 9.0, it's just the forwarders not working. Thanks for the help.
update your app your using. If it’s retroarch then update all your cores from within the retroarch app. 9.0.0 changed h.i.d stuff and the homebrew your forwarding needs to updated with the newest changes in libnx
The one that the controls doesn’t work on must not have been updated correctly then . What app is it? It’ll work from homebrew menu because they do a temp patch when launching via that way.Like I said, every nro was updated for 9.0. I'm also using the latest version of atmosphere/kosmos. The nros work fine through the homebrew menu, it's only forwarding them as nsps that doesn't work.[/

I’d recommend remove the Nros in question and replacing them again with the newests (from there github). Also verify you don’t have multiple Nros on the sd card where the forwarder is pointing to a specific build and then you’re replacing a different version. You can try 3.3.6 beta 1 but I don’t think that’ll fix your issue.pplay, NX-Shell, OpenRCT2, and retroarch (not roms, just retroarch itself)
It is very much possible, would require modifying the source a bit to pass the path directly and bypass the menuis there any chance of adding support so standalone apps like ppsspp or pplay can have their games/movies used by forwarders rather then just retroarch

You’re talking about the retroarch core tho right? Or the standalone app?I first made standalone PPSSPP forwarders for individual games months ago and they work fine. You just enter the correct location for where the .nro is and also the rom.
Well that’s definitely good to know, so just replace the core with the the path to the nro?The standalone PPSSPP app. At first I did Retroarch but I had a problem with save states on it on 9.0 so I switched to the standalone. Forwarders work fine. It's as simple as pointing to where the app is and the rom. Games start right up from the forwarders like they do Retroarch, and you can still get to the app menu in game so perfect.
