Hi guys!
I just bought a Fuse gelee switch second hand.
Its been updated to 7.0.1
The question is, should I update to latest version and install the cfw or should I stay at 7.

BTW, could you suggest a guide for the suggested firmware

Guide: https://switch.homebrew.guide/gettingstarted/beforestarting

You should update to 8.1.0 for game compatibility. If you want to preserve the ability to downgrade by preserving your fuse count, you can install AutoRCM during the update (or use an emuNAND if you don't like AutoRCM). However, if you're content with using fusee gelee forever, there will never be any reason to downgrade.

If you want to use online play, you need to create an emuNAND for all of your hacks. If you don't care about online play (or you don't want to use it to preserve fuses), you don't need an emuNAND.

You should keep your dirty NAND (the one you use hacks with) disconnected from the internet (or install 90DNS and/or Incognito) to avoid being banned.

Last edited by Lacius,
exFAT is supported. You can download the Switch 8.0.1 firmware files and use ChoiDujour NX to update to the latest version with exFAT support. :)

Fat32! That was it!
I hope they will support exfat soon

Thanks a lot
If you haven't already updated to 8.1.0 using ChoiDujourNX yet, make sure you select the "8.1.0 (exFAT)" option if you want to install exFAT support. If you've already updated to 8.1.0, you can still do this.

That being said, exFAT is not recommended since it has a higher chance of corrupting. FAT32 is recommended.

Thanks for all your support Lacius.
In the end I decided to keep firmware 7.0.1 just in case. Im coming from an 3ds xl experience.
I installed an emunand with fat32. I'll keep it as is it for the meantime.
My last question(hope so) can I update the emunand and keep the sysnand as is, same for the efuses?
Sorry for the question, but as a 3ds user it was pretty straight forward

Thanks once again
