I installed it using sx os, album/installer.

I wonder if it could be the sd speed.

I used to get it when running the rom as an xci off sd card.

But installing the game fixed the problem for me

Yeap the main cheats code always has to be activated , just select all the codes and avoid the ones that are no for Sxos

I'm using SX OS 2.8, my DQB2 is 1.6.1, I enable the cheats that I want, but nothing happens. No infinite HP, item in slot 0 is not 999, etc, etc. What am I doing wrong?

There is no need for max level in this game.
You archieve max level (10,20,30,35) on each story island without any problem, only the post game level 99 cap would need this.
But after level 30, you only gain HP boosts from levelups, you could do the same with life seeds.

Also in the post game, there is a Metal Slime King which gives 30.000+ EXP, one kill per levelup...

Maybe when i have time, so many good games in july ^^, Red Faction is on my todo list, aswell as God Eater 3, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 and Fire Emblem Three Houses.

I just finished DQB2 for the second time (i did play the japanese original).
And now im working on the 134 Room Recipes (122 without DLC), so far i got 125, if someone needs help on this, just PM me.

And you have the Main cheats always selected right ? Because if you choose to select all the cheats avoiding th ones for Atmosphere it should work , also you are doing this while the games is still open and the title I'd and build id are the same as the game right ?

@Falo can you please add damage mod for DQB2? Also is the save editable like in DQB1? i.e using hex table for items, weapons, and hammers? It's just the start of the game (DQB2) is super slow.

Damage mod might be possible, but for now i don't really see why you would need it, this game has really easy combat, just upgrade your and Malroths weapon, on Story Island 2 you unlock a new combo-skill which does 2500+ damage and can kill almost all enemies instantly.

About the save, yes and no, i know how to edit it, but i don't know how to fix the checksum.

I have avoided all the codes with atmosphere only, and I have enabled the mastercode.
