Hacking Question sysNAND formatting

So I have my SX emuNAND with games, saves etc as a file on my SD card.
If I boot up on OFW/sysNAND and format my switch, will I be able to go back to emuNAND just fine? Or do I need to take any extra measures?

If you create a backup of your whole micro sd card before, you should be fine. Im not sure what formatting your switch will delete on your micro sd card but if you have a copy of your EmuNAND you can simply copy it back on in case it gets deleted.
