Hello.:)

Did you use an USB Flash/Pen Drive/Stick or an extern HDD ?

Thank you.:)

did you try r1272 ?
be sure to delete old settings first. I changed the default IOS to use 58. Or set the loader's IOS to 58 yourself manually from the settings menu.

it'll help in detecting incompatible drives .... which will STILL be incompatible. flashdrives are not recommended. and wiiflow or CFG has nothing to do with it. I don't know why you always recommend other loaders when the problem is common to all three.
the only advantage is that both CFG and Wiiflow already had IOS58 by default for the interface (not for the games). so, launching the loader will work, but playing the game won't.

if you really want to use flashdrive, format it to WBFS format, not FAT32 or NTFS or Ext2/3/4. But remember it'll still have issues and might crash freeze regularly.

Thank you.:)

EDIT: Master @Cyan was quicker.:yay:

Please check on USBLoaderGX startup splash screen which IOS it uses (has to be 249).

Can you please test it then with an extern HDD please ? Pendrives have the mannerism for not working correctly with USBLoader GX.

Thank you.:)

on the startup splashscreen, it's better if it's using 58 instead of 249. that's why I set it as default on latest revision (for new install).
and it's not always "249" which should be used, sometime it's 250. it depends where the user has its own base57 installed to.

if even 58 doesn't work, try other loaders as there's nothing more you can do with this one, but I suppose the problem is the flashdrive.
i think its the flash drive too, none of the loaders i have on my wii work, i will just buy a external ssd

ssd is expensive and not required for the Wii, which works as usb1.1 and 2.0 max speed, you won't notice nor take advantage of the speed.
and it could even be incompatible too, as ssd is a flash memory chipset too, but as long as the internal USB communication board is working that's fine. you won't know before testing.

you can't.
wbfs partition can only be used to store Wii games with tools such as wit or Wiibackupmanager. It can't be used with anything else.
Stop using flash drives or wait for flash drive fan boys to help you out - if they will/can.

but what he wants is to use WBFS partition because he uses flashdrive, and they don't work in other format. if he uses FAT32, he lose access to wii games.
but it just mean another thing that he doesn't do correctly : he doesn't have an SD card !

apps folder on SD card ! always ! (thank me later) that's also a reason why USBLoaders don't work, the USB is unmount at loader's launch. if the USB is unmount, then it can't find the setting files anymore if they are supposed to be on (disconnected) USB! ALWAYS use an SD card for homebrew app and resources, it'll prevent partition corruption. I already see other users coming and saying that's wrong and they do it without problem. just trust my knowledge and past experience, users had issue because of that ! (just do a search on the forum, it's not that hard to get a real example !), if it works for you and you are willing to risk it, up to you, don't come to me later. (I know you will and I'll help you anyway, that's how I am)

USB only for ROM or ISO, that's all.

be sure the wii source is enabled. it might have been disabled automatically last time USB wasn't detected.
Main windows > top menu > 4th icon > Wii games

It's a long due request/suggestion to stop unselecting the Wii if usb is not plugged/mount. I always forget to do it on each revision.

no need, it looks on usb:/wbfs/
if you have multiple partition, then you have to select the partition (or force a refresh maybe) here : settings > hdd menu > click on the first option (install partition) to scroll through all partition.
it's the only thing you can change related to where the games are located.

(they are in wbfs folder and i used wii backup manager to put them there)
you used the program to "put them here", or to "install them" ?
please, only use that program properly !
if you use the program to "convert", you are doing it wrong.
you have to use the program to "transfer" the game to the device.
check you used it correctly here :
