Hacking Bricked Wii With Priiloader and MMM

Set up a wii system for a family member years ago and they brought it back today with a black screen once you turn it on.
I can still access Priiloader and Multi-Mod Manager via Bottmii IOS

Looks like it is running
IOS v80
Systemmenu v513

When I load Multi-Mod Manager it is running
IOS236 v543221

Anyone know what could be wrong or how to fix?
Was modded using letterbomb years ago

First of all, I would make a bootmii backup, making sure to backup any which may already exist on the SD card.

Second, what happens if you try to access the HBC via bootmii?

Remember, don't touch the system menu as that will remove priiloader.

Did they do anything to the system prior to bringing it to you? Both physically (e.g. knocked it over) and/or software wise.

With this you can

- reinstall Homebrew Channel (or if needed re-softmod your Wii)
- update your Softmod to the latest state

Take a little time to read through the guide and then pick your options you need.

I meant via bootmii, there should be an option to launch it from there, I know at some point the titleid was changed.

If you still got an error I was going to suggest reinstalling it via Bootmii after making a backup.

Ask them what they did though as this may be the best way to identify what they did as black screen can be caused by different issues e.g. faulty loose bluetooth module, modified system menu, etc.
