the fs_patches and default_nogc go inside kip_patches, and the other one go inside atmosphere folder, exefs/es_patches.

If you don't need it turn it off, it drain battery, you only need it if you want to access app store.

NSP files are a little bit smaller than XCI, but in general if you want to run XCI, use SX OS, run them off HDD or the SD card, it is like storage for physical copy games, they aren't installed on to the system using SX OS.
