Why would you open a thread for that? There are such reasons and such reasons. You buy the product from TX for cash and not that you have to like TX. TX is a company and not a person. Why don't you open a thread why so many people hate Apple?
lol, Apple hate doesnt really make any sense but hating people that steal code I can understand.

So their bad software, bad hardware, bad spec selection in their new hardware, bad practices against those attempting to fix their bad hardware and dodge things with their bad software, their seemingly being a company governed by an ideology that many find suspect... whether it means you personally want to hate apple is up for debate but they are all things many find bad.

Most console hackers attempt to avoid piracy and have a free method for people to run homebrew etc and TX is stealing code from others saying its their own and also just selling piracy

How about "Don't hate"?

Homebrew aka Emulators aka Piracy

Technically, running homebrew in any way, shape or form is at the least breaking licenses (the same thing everyone is accusing TX of doing).

Emulators can be used to play homebrew with, but the majority of people use them to play pirated games with.

... and piracy of Switch games is piracy.

So you're basically correct with your statement.

You only say the truth.

Other than them trying to block third party repair stores who often cause more problems then they fix, the rest of what you are saying is complete bs or at the very least short very short sighted. Do you know what happens to android phones when the batteries have the same issues as old iphones (and they will), they shut down. Apples socs are also much faster than anything android has to offer, so just sit down. You are just repeating what google and samsung want you to say and think. With google I can atleast think of several legit reasons to hate them, they even removed the phrase "Don't be evil" from their code of conduct recently. Anyway its not even worth debating, brainwashed apple haters will just use a bunch of fallacy arguments one after the other.

Just because Android (which is hardly a monolith) have their issues does not mean I can't compare Apple to... baseline physics or general ideas of best/obvious engineer design practice, which is what I do for everything by default. Similarly I was thinking more about their computers -- did they not just try to sell people a nice luxury performance brand (apparently that is what they bill themselves as still) without a SSD in current year? Though if we do want to consider phones this is also before we consider the rush to abandon headphone ports, no SD cards, not allowing batteries to be swapped out, pointless proprietary cables, general design awfulness (the whole bend thing for one, though there are plenty more).

The repair stores thing. While that Americans refer to as mall repair shops do often cause issues, ones I then get tapped to fix the results of, that does not come close to excusing their behaviours there.

The rest of it I will stand by as well -- even without that Tim Cook utter bollocks on "hate speech" the other month they have a long list to their name
https://stallman.org/apple.html

If you are happy to baby their hardware, not be limited by it and enjoy their walled garden then I am glad you found a niche that works for you. If they are supposed to be either the cream of the crop or something other than a niche... they are going to get both barrels from me until they play nicely.

Its not exactly a niche product just because you dont like it, but if you dont like it thats up to you! No reason to hate the company just because their product isnt for you. https://stallman.org/google.html

True, but I would maintain its limitations render it a niche product rather than those looking to have technology enhance their lives by being able to be twisted to their ends (which is most of the species).

I tend not to hate anything -- anything I hate tends to have the full bore of my cuntishness brought to bear on them... and that would not be pretty.

I do however hold a strong dislike for them for causing those people that do have their hardware/software that I do like annoyance and expense to have to put right failures to do even basic engineering properly, causing those just looking to fix things drama and trauma for no great reason, and being a bunch of censor happy and at the same borderline amoral arseholes.
