No, I didn't brick my console, made sure to be careful. It works right up to a point, for me after I get out of the Wii u menu after a bootup and launch an application and go back to the homescreen, it takes me back to the CBHC menu, but after that it freezes on the Wii u boot screen. I don't know if I did something wrong, or this is something up with the exploit itself, but any help is appreciated.

does this happen with with wiiu games because it should only need to reboot if you are loading the system menu after loading vWii

From my use with it since using CBHC, any and every app that takes you out of the Wii u menu causes it to freeze even just loading settings.

I would try to uninstall CBHC just to troubleshoot. See if it still freezes just using plain old Haxchi. If it does, then it's not CBHC's fault but something else.

So I came across these two Q&A on the CBHC page and it goes as follows:
Q: So I can use this to run Mocha CFW?
A: Yes, but please, use Mocha CFW only if you need redNAND. Booting into a Custom firmware SysNAND using Mocha is unnecessarily longer while CBHC can do it faster, unless you need WUP Server.

Q: Why should I use CBHC with Mocha only for redNAND?
A: If you want only a CFW to launch or install games, it's a LOT faster to only patch sysNAND from CBHC.

Anyway, I think these questions solve my problem, in the fact I guess CBHC shouldn't run mocha if I use sysnand, but rednand I've never heard of till now. How do I go about grabbing rednand is now the question.

Ok so I got CBHC to stop loading the menu on bootup and it no longer loads mocha to my knowledge, coldboot auto launches, but mocha is gone. However the Wii u still launches into some cfw like state with no signature locks stopping me from loading digital only games, like Ds games or injected games I made on Wii u USB helper. The only problem is that if I load Homebrew it freezes when I exit, but I can use all the apps in Homebrew just fine. I just have to reset the console after using homebrew

That was probably your problem. You were loading sigpatches over sigpatches, confusing your system. Mocha is useless if you have Haxchi installed. Don't use Mocha. (CBHC is Haxchi)

I thought haxchi itself was just so people could get into the Homebrew launcher easier instead of the browshax method. I didn't know it was a cfw software
