Hacking Question about hencore and psn linkage

I got a vitaslim at 3.67, however I've read in the hencore guide that you need to be linked to a psn account in order to do the exploit.
Is there any way I can tell if the device is linked to an account or not? Will I need to know the credentials? (Can't check because im prompted to update.

If all else fails, can i factory reset and link an account without needing to update?

Use the henkaku dns to access psn on lower ofw
Then you can create an account and use h-encore.

You can remove the dns when your vita is hacked.

Simpler solution would be to spoof to newest firmware in henkaku settings, then go to playstation network settings and see if there is already an account here, if there is not proceed to just sign in and it should work no problem.
