Not only in this forum, but in my country USA, im newbie also. So my grammar like a hell..
just for introducing before the important question. Im from indonesia and 7 days ago me and my family moved to california for some reason but i cant explain it now. after browsing for gaming forum, i find gbatem.net and i hope i can find people from indonesia like me, in this forum.
Ok. Now for the important question. When i still on my country, i see alot of seller on online store sell an SD card with full game of nintendo siwtch. But i dont understand how to use it. So, before i buy it i need some help from experts in this forum. Thank you.
Well I moved here from Canada and they think I'm slow eh ... hahahaha I just had to get that Simpsons quote in (I still live in Canada for the record). Also that episode with Frank Scorpio (You Only Move Twice, Season 8, Episode 2) is prob one of the greatest Simpsons episodes ever!
Regarding your post, welcome to the forum! As
@FEF1 said, that SD card you saw fully loaded with games is most likely a scam/fake and I'm willing to bet it will corrupt your Switch. I'm basing that off of nothing but it def sounds like a scam.
When it comes to finding/downloading games, Google is your best friend. Search "Nintendo Switch game downloads" and you'll find a bunch of places to download games from. Reddit is also another good source to find links to games, there's even a subreddit page dedicated to sharing .nsp games, again Google is your best friend.
Before you even start downloading games, I would recommend you learn what the differences are between .xci's and .nsp's games, as many people prefer to have .xci games as opposed to .nsp games.
Another thing to always remember/consider before you tinker with your switch is to do as much research as possible before you actually decide to do any modifications to your switch. Read, read & read some more about any and all subjects related to modifying your switch. Browse the GBAtemp forums (and subreddit pages) as much as you can, and read as many threads as possible, especially when it comes to doing a Nand backup. You can never not know enough. Also avoid the temptation and never install a new program or patch or fix the second it gets released, let other experienced users do that first and wait for them to offer their two cents on what they encountered / dealt with.
Oh and don't ever be afraid to ask stupid questions (I've asked plenty lol)! Sure you might get some silly answers, but for the most part you'll get a good/reliable answer from someone, just be patient when it comes to getting answers and keep browsing the threads, odds are someone else asked the same question you asked.
My last two cents, if/when you do find a website that has torrents of a nintendo switch game to download, avoid public torrents at all costs! Try to join a private torrent website (google private torrent websites). Internet providers throttle torrents and if you're downloading from a public torrent website, you're just asking to get letter from your internet provider saying that they received notice from Nintendo that you downloaded something illegal
