Hope 6.1 isn't the PS3 3.55. Took years to get a new exploit and still doesn't do exactly what 3.55 PS3s do to this day.
I doubt this will be like that. Even though CFWs are indeed patched, we still have the bootrom exploit that's easily accessible unlike back then in the PS3 days.

Wait, you didn't do anything else?
Like hold vol+ and stick in an RCM jig exactly as it restarted?
You do know that updating in OFW removes AutoRCM, right?
haha i didnt know that i had to do that..... well that is why it burned =(, i should use choi.....

So Nintendo pull a rabbit out of a hat. We are on breaking point, if hackers found a soulution for this update, what more can Nintendo do exept new xl pro units stuff.
Go SciresM.

Perfect timing before smash ultimate release :P
I preordered the European limited edition with the gamecube controller (europe did not get the steelcase limited edition, alas), so I'm eventually going to update to 6.2. I have a clean emuNAND on 6.1 and a clean sysNAND on 6.1 right now. I've turned off automatic sleep mode on my emuNAND, so it won't suffer from the warm boot fuse check shutdown once I update to 6.2.

i have done that, thanks for the advice bro.

You will still burn your fuse if you update to 6.2 now because even if you don't burn your fuse during the update, you can only keep it as long as you only boot to CFW. Problem is, CFW doesn't work on 6.2 now so you can only boot to OFW. It will then check your fuse count and burn the necessary fuse.

Broken, not cracked.
Also goes without the matter of time. Whatever it may take.
Oh I actually read this quote somewhere, exactly this quote. It was like eons ago, ICQ times. So probably in some NFO or something.

yes, i had read that on SX fourm anyway emunand still a lives, so at the moment SX is the only CFW that "works" for hombrew or ISOS.

Yes correct. But emunand and OFW can not be on 6.2 yet
yes, i was refering to that i hope that we dont have to wait to long for that, but only god knows, if Sciresm says that is hard is bc is truly hard, at the moment is more probable that he cracks the keys before team SX.

Lets hope everyone is patient. No good of pushing these teams. Im sure they will succeed.

Bitch please :rofl2:
Everything is crackable.

It might take some time, but for sure it will be cracked.
Nintendo cannot win this homebrew war, never.

Besides, you make it seem like Reswitched is the only team of guys working on the Switch at the moment.
There's also Team Overflow, the guys from Switchbrew and also others that lurk in the shadows (just remember the guy that leaked the RCM stuff).

If Reswitched can't crack it, one of the others will for sure.
Nintendo could release an endless stream of new keys whenever their current ones are defeated, and they could easily do so to keep the upper-hand if they wanted... But let's be real here... How long did the 3DS stay on 11.2, fully exploitable? MONTHS AND MONTHS. I doubt they'd patch this again right away unless it gets cracked before Smash strikes.

Difficult != Imposible
Don't over react, computer problems usually sound worse than what they really are.

I think im prepared, dns configured, airplane mode activated and i even blocked the MAC of my switch on my router that is the only wifi point that my switch is configured to connect.
Thankfully i updated everything i needed the day before the update.

Seems to be perfect timing with Smash right around the corner. Although with the preloads already available i do think it will be able to be bypassed with tinfoil.

With that said looking into 2019 if this is indeed uncrackable we won't have access to Metroid Prime 4 Bayo 3 and Pokemon 2019.

I have a second legit switch so all is good with me. Just very interesting to see how this unfolds. Seems Nintendo FINALLY has good security for their systems now.

Seems like 5.1.0 is still the golden firmware to be at. Don't see any reason to update at all.
