Hacking XAJ Models sold in uk

I’m looking to buy a used switch most units are XAJ Models sold online are these legit or should I be looking for a XAW to use CFW and work in uk?

Xaj are EU consoles... xaw are US consoles if im not mistaken...so yes both are legit

I think J stands for japan and w stands for west

Yeah why so many used j model in uk? Will they cause any difference?

In the EU you only get xaj... at least all the stores i went too were all xaj... mine is xaj anyways the point is their all legit lol

I guess Japan makes them for Europe and Japan while America is made in America? Or should I say West is made in the West.

I think the difference is cosmetic. The XAJ switches have a few different regulatory logos which are probably required in Europe (and Japan I guess?). Also note the XAJ switch is labeled "HAC-S-JP/EU" while the XAW is labeled "HAC-S-US/AU"

Edit: Now that I think of it, there may be some wireless band differences too.
