Homebrew Question Can I downgrade my switch game?

Okay so I am completely new to all of this stuff and I'm sorry if I sound stupid. I was wondering if theres a way I can downgrade a switch game to a previous version? And if I can do I need the digital or cart version? I have the digital version of Mario Tennis Aces and I want to downgrade it because I don't like the changes from all the updates and me and my friends cant enjoy it.

If you have a NAND backup from before you installed the updates, you can use that to remove the updates as well.
