Its not my fault! The youtube guy said it will release "tomorrow" and tomorrow was already. Only ask because i was confused

The fault is by the autor of this post and not by the members.

It will be released when it is ready and not a minute sooner. The patch is being tested extensively by the RetroNX team. The more time we spend having to explain to people that it isn't out yet and why directly leads to less time testing and delays the release.

We get that it's being tested but people are going to ask because they don't want to accidentally miss it. It's perfectly reasonable for them to ask so cut them some slack

It has existed for 4 days. It is NOT reasonable to expect something that could potentially cause significant and lasting damage to your switch to be tested and ready for a public release in less than a week. Y'all need to chill.

We chill. Like i said the youtube guy said it will release after 1 day but it isnt. We did just wonder what happened.

It clearly wasn't. The conversation should be over. It will come when it is deemed at least relatively safe and a complete product. If you care about the long term wellness of your Switch then you need to give us TIME to test exactly that. We aren't swapping icons, we are pushing the hardware beyond what it is designed to cool. When it's released there will be no ambiguity, do not worry. Hell, I'm sure TX will lift the code soon enough.

If people ask after that, then annoyance would be more reasonable.

You're, probably, the most interactive dev I've seen. Might be best to not give any hints at your next project/s and tell any testers to not mention you. You know the second any of these find out you're doing something they turn into that Spongebob i neeeeed it meme.

Sorry I don't dedicate every moment to serving this ungrateful "community." Sorry I tire of people seeing this thread then pestering the discord server about it. Sorry I took a few moments out of my day to try and stem the tide of entitlement instead of spending every moment destroying my Switch further for people to say "Gimme gimme."

You’re forgiven but I suggest you find another hobby than bullying people online for asking a question! Thanks for the input and we are very grateful FYI some are just more patient than others.
