Just fixed this issue myself, I was using FileZilla on win10 and I was having constant problems wouldn't connect ect and when it would, It would screw up the files and corrupt them.

Changed over to FlashFXP and it works spot on no issues at all, just use your IP and port 5000
Thank you, that did the trick.

2 hours to ftp 1 7 gb game wtf ,can i hard wire the switch ? is nintendo selling ethernet adapter

I have been saying this for months, wireless ftp is too slow for big games. Imagine transferring games like Bayonetta 2 (14gb) or Doom (22gb with patch)? It's OK with smaller indie games but useless for bigger retail games. We need a USB-C to USB-C cable transfer, this will be blistering fast and won't required the need to remove the SDcard and having to RCM the Switch all the time.

I believe what you mean is USB 3.1 Type-C to USB 3.1 Type-A. Is the switch capable of usb 3.1 speeds? Just because it has a type-c connector doesn't mean it's usb 3.1 spec. I'm thinking it's usb 2.0 PD and you won't get much more than 20MB/s if that. Anyone have a link to the actual controller hardware and what it is?

Also, you can already mount it as usb, but only from rcm afaik. I do it all the time instead of ftpd because ftpd nuked my card.

EDIT: I forgot I use txftp now, no probs.

I use a MacBook Pro, USB-C to USB-C will be ideal. If your computer has no USB-C port then use an adaptor for USB-A. I believe it is 3.1, Switch was launched last year - no one uses 2.0 anymore. Current mounting has severe speed limits due to proprietary API that can't be used by open-source program.

Why 93%? Why not 94%?

The future is USB-C, get a new computer.
If there's any reason to move on to USB-C, it's because of this.

I just realised that downloading games from the net using wifi is faster than transferring the game to my Switch using FTP. If someone can make a browser for the Switch, we can download the game directly to the SDcard, without wasting time transferring it!
