Hi All,

When I click on CDNSP-GUI-Bob-v3.5.3.BAT it opens the command prompt and loads the usual screen, however after that it does not open the GUI.

Am I doing anything wrong? I have just downloaded this file and python. Is there anything else I need to do?

First of all, 3.5.3 is not the current version. There is v4 already.
Second, get support for that in the download board where you got it from

Sure, bud. Because CDNSPgui by Bob totally does not download a full titlekey list with all games by itself ;)
There's not thread on CDNSPgui here and no support for it. Get on the darkest shadow during a solar eclipse-board and grab your current version and support there.

Don't want to be a douche but how come CDNSP Gui by Bob is considered blatant piracy while the CNDSP GUI from this forum is ok?

Well, don't want to be a snitch, but there is one in the "Emulation, Homebrew & Software Projects" section.

CDNSP GUI doesn't have the certificate or titlekeys that Bob does because those two things I mentioned are not only needed to make CDNSP work, but are also considered warez. Bob just skips all of the user steps in obtaining all of the necessarily files in order to run CDNSP. CDNSP in of itself is not a warez because it works like Freeshop but on your computer.

True, but that doesn't meant that it's a more piracy oriented tool than the GUI here just because 2 files are missing which, with a simple Google can be found. It's like "banning" discussions about SX OS just because it has a couple of files more than ReiNX which let's you run backups. Both do the same thing. If you reach the same result more easy on one than the other it doesn't mean they are different.

First you would need to update to 4.0. Then before running the GUI make sure you are updating the libs for python. You have a READ ME file in the GUI folder. Read it :D

Has nothing to do with piracy. CDNSP Bob has copyrighted content for the easiness of the user. There are plenty of piracy related tools on GBATemp from emulators to backup launchers to CFW. The point is those aren't considered copyrighted content but a dump of a public console's certificate is hence why its not on GBATemp. If Bob didn't have that, as well as a list of the titlekeys, it would be featured here.

I can't say i agree with you. Don't want to be the Copyright Nazi but for example ReiNX is infringing a lot of copyrights and is still here(i work in the biz so trust me i know a lot about this). Don't get me wrong, i'm deep in this world of "modding" as well as buying things that, in my opinion, are worth having/helping the developer. I also get what i need from where Bob posted his GUI and i also help him with feedback. What kinda bugs me is that some things are considered ok while others are not. Anyways, i don't want to go to the off-topic territory so i'll stop here. In my country there is a saying: "you can't shit on someone's taste" which basically "translates" to: I respect your opinion but i don't embrace it. Have a nice day.
