Hacking Question Can't install nsp with tinfoil

I got error "parseXML: invalid content meta type 81. InstallTitle: Failed to parse XML! error code: 0xfffffff" when I try to install nsp file. What does that mean?

That happened to be when I mistakenly downloaded an update, that's not the base game.

Well, in the case of myself, I have the base game installed on v0, and I want to install the update offline, it's giving me this same error however, so how would go about fixing that?

EDIT; nvm not only did I need to update my tinfoil from it's day 1 release, I also needed to download the Dev Menu NSP to install Updates

No, you don’t need Dev Menu to install updates, the latest TinFoil can do that

Yeah, I accidentally installed an update with the updated tinfoil, just after the post edit, and I noticed no usual error, at least the devmenu nsp I found will be a pretty neat trophy now xD

try deleting a module called fs_mitm (i cant remember the extention name) what cfw are you using?
