Hacking I need help with R4 SDHC

Hi guys! I have an R4 SDHC RTS Lite and i am trying to make it work on my DSi XL. The bad thing is that, my DSi XL is on 1.4.5 E. I looked everywhere on the internet and, here on the forum but i did not find anything that help’s. Everytime i insert the card on my DSi and press the Star Wars Lethal Alliance Ubisoft icon, i got the black screen with the error: aan error has occurred. press and hold the Power button ..... . I use the files from www r4isdhc com with YSmenu. Also, i upgrade the card’s firmware to 3DS v4.2.09 and DSI v1.44. I am guessing i need a n DSi v1.45 firmware upgrade so i can use it on my XL but i cannot find the files. Can someone, PLEASE, help me?!?
P.S. i made the firmware upgrade using my normal DSi that runs on version 1.4.1 E.
P.P.S.: i hope that , being my first post on this forum, i don’t break a forum rule.

You would need to upgrade the firmware via the kernel from the website, but since you don't seem to have a DS Lite, you need to either use it on a CFW 3DS, CFW DSi, or a DSi with a modded/downgraded 1.4 firmware.

Thank you for the response. The kernel have the files needed in the package or do i need to look for them on the net? And can i use my DSi with 1.4.1 E version or it has to be a DSi with v 1.4?

Your question about the console firmware, yes it has to be v1.4 NOT 1.4.1.

i have a sdhc dualcore 2018,im triyng to use it in my ndsi ver 1.4.5u and i downloaded the r4i v3.9b in spanish,english and japanese,only the japanese had background(idk if thats important).anyway all of them had trouble with games,some of them didnt load and some others told me that i had to reset the console,im new at this and i need help

I have tried with an DSi XL, with v 1.4, I have downloaded the files from your link, copy the files on an empty card and when i press the A button to boot in the menu, i got the loadingscreen with the message: Please upgrade the hardware for support latest firmware .... . Any suggestion? Thanks

That's because you need to make YSmenu a primary boot kernel, recheck the thread, I know someone posted the primary boot data file. I would give it to you myself but I'm on mobile at the moment.

I found the file (YSMenu Primary Boot.dat), i put the file on my the root of my SD card and it boot´s in the YS Menu, it´s working but, i don ´t know how to update my R4 card. I have downloaded 306743-RetroGameFan Multi Cart Update v7.04, copy the files for my R4 SDHC but from there .... i CAN´t find any card update option. I hate being a noob

There is no way to update the flashcart via YSmenu, YSmenu is strictly for people to avoid the time bomb issues.

I don't think that it will work on 1.4.5 without custom firmware.

Problem solved! Just bought a cheap R4 SDHC Gold Pro. Thank you for your help
