I bought this. It works well, but I wasn't able to unscrew the side rails, so ultimately, it was pointless. (The side rails use philips screws, the tri wing screwdriver wasn't at fault)

Good to know. I'll get 1 of those little mini Phillips/flat screwdriver kits.
 
My toolFIX is to keep the switch in the dock for 3-4 days. The problem with the battery disappears. I've done it several times and it works every time.

You're going to mess up your battery badly by doing this. You're decreasing its lifespan.

I'm pretty sure that the charger stop when the battery is full.
My switch is 90% on the dock and i didn't see any battery problem

That's how older technology worked due to overcharging. The charging stops once the switch is 100% so leaving it docked for days on end is fine. There are plenty of people who never undock their switch and play it exclusively on their TV, that would be silly if it was capable of overcharging.
