Hardware Overclocking Mac Pro 4’1/5’1 with windows

i have become interested in these PCs lately and how good of a value they are. I have seen videos of people overclocking x5690s and other -5xxx processors but none of which were on a Mac Pro. Would the temperatures be an issue? I am sure there is some trickery you can pull. Anyone know of anyone doing this?
 
I'm fairly certain that you can't overclock a computer from within the operating system, at least not without special software written to interact with the BIOS. You'd be better suited looking for special KEXT patches for MacOS or seeing if you can somehow natively overclock through Apple's EFI (although we both know the answer already, I think)

indeed. but it seems like it can be done... maybe there is a custom bios
 
The problem is the board (generally xeon cpu's arnt overclockable either except in certain circumstances)
Unless you get a known compatible board for overclocking, its not going to happen on that mac board

yea i think i have betteer things to do then gut a whole mac... i belive that board is custom?
